Digital Photo Relics
What's the oldest digital camera photo you have on your computer? When is it from? Let's see it!
I have some photos of NYC from when I reviewed the Apple Quicktake 100 (I think) for Imaging Magazine sometime in 1994/95. I don't recall exactly what I took pictures of - a fruit stand I think, among other things. Unfortunately they are probably on a hard drive not hooked up to any computer right now. It would probably be faster for me to find someone who has a copy of the magazine and have them scan them in :)
It was a fairly negative review, but my publisher softened it up a bit (does anyone have access to ancient articles such as this?)

Wow, the Quicktake 100! I had one of those. I'm now going nuts trying to figure out where it might have gone, but I think it went with the Performa 450 I finally gave up in 1995 to a "good cause." Which publication did you write for?
I found your blog by searching for Maine tags, as I just got back from a trip to Portland and loved it there. But you have lots of interesting things to say besides, so if you don't mind I'd like to add you to my neighborhood.
I wrote for Imaging Magazine, which was part of the Telecom Library empire, which was eventually sold to another publishing company. At this point I don't know if any traces remain.
Glad you enjoyed Portland, despite the mosquitos. Happy to be added to your neighborhood!
