QotD: My Earliest Memory
What is your earliest memory?

I have a lot of trouble with early memories. They are a bit slippery to me. But the two that seem earliest to me:
- a big thunder/lightning storm going on outside while I was on a bed
- riding a tricycle
both of these would have happened before I was four years old, but other than that I can't pin it down.
