This frozen fellow was found on L.L. Bean's campus recently. Every weekend the folks with chainsaws show up and create some new sculptures.

This is the Christmas tree located on the campus of L.L. Bean in Freeport, Maine. It is a live tree, so it is only going to get bigger every year (soory, not a live tree). The large green balls are bundles of regular-sized lights. The multi-colored lights you see are actually large illuminated Nalgene water bottles.
[update] I contaced L.L. Bean and a representative informed me the tree is "approximately 40 feet" tall (December 2006). As a point of comparison, this year's tree at Rockefeller Center in NYC is 88 feet tall. Of course, that one is not getting any taller.
